What to Expect
Plasmage Process
Based on your desired treatment. Our staff, aestheticians and/or physicians, will prepare you and make sure you are comfortable throughout your treatment.
On the day of your treatment, your aesthetician will ensure your skin is prepped.
First, we will apply EXOIE plant based stems cells to the treatment area to help increase increase the absorption of the anesthetic cream.
Next the aesthetician will apply a generous layer of anesthetic cream. We will let it absorb for about 30 minutes.
While the skin is being numbed, staff will take before pictures of the treatment area.
Next, we will reapply an additional layer of anesthetic cream and wait another 25-30 minutes for the numbing to take full effect.
If we are removing a skin tag, the physician will inject lidocaine before starting the procedure.
After testing the treatment area for numbness, the physician or licensed aesthetician, will use the handpiece of the Plasmage device to deliver precise plasma energy to the treatment area right above the skin. The plasmage creates an energy arc that directs fractional plasma energy into the skin with using precise and controlled energy pulses.
After the Plasmage treatment is done. Our team will apply more EXOIE plant based stem cells to the treatment area and we will put you under the LightStim, near infrared and Red light treatment to begin the skin repair process.
You will be under the near infrared/red light treatment for about 30 minutes.
The results will be precise and healing will take place over the next 1-2 weeks, depending on your own health and healing ability. Some patients begin to see visible results by day 2 or 3!

Pre-Treatment
Pre-Care Instructions
Prior to Your Plasmage Treatment in lower Westchester, Dream Sculpt Body Spa Recommends:
- Discontinue any irritant topical agents for 2-3 days prior to treatment.
- Please remove contacts prior to face treatments.
- The client is to avoid tanning for at least 4 weeks before treatment or the use of self-tanners. Any alteration in the natural color of the skin will affect the outcome.
- The client is to arrive to the treatment with clean skin (no lotion, makeup, perfume or powders).
- Must be off Isotretinoin (Accutane) for at least 6 months prior to treatment. Must be off Tretinoin (Retin-A) for at least 4 weeks prior to treatment.
- If you have a history of herpes simplex you may need to get prophylactic treatment 1 week before laser treatment to avoid any outbreaks.
- Avoid caffeine 24-48 hours before the treatment.
Comfort
Wear loose, comfortable clothing.
Hydration
Drink plenty of water & stay hydrated.
Hygiene
Shave the treatment area if needed for maximum skin contact.

Post-Care Instructions

- Apply EXOIE REIPAIR plant based stem cells to the treatment area in the morning and before going to bed.
- Apply Aquaphore cream to the treament area after applying repair. This will help hydrate your skin.
- Apply ointment to treated area until scabs are gone
- Please wear SPF 30 to SPF 50 Daily
- Avoid sunlight for 14 days post treatment
- Avoid Heavy Sweating/exercising Day of Treatment
- Do Not Take Steam Showers the Day of Treatment
- Avoid Going to Hot Tubs and Saunas the Day of Treatment

- How Does The Plasmage Treatment Work?

PLASMAGE ® delivers plasma energy to the aimed at by the ionizing of ambient gas in the air. Plasma is delivered through a small probe or applicator. - IS THERE MUCH DOWNTIME AFTER A PLASMAGE TREATMENT?
- The device creates microthermal treatment zones; these small dots are visible immediately after the treatment and result in tiny scabs which gradually heal and fall off over the period of 7 – 10 days. Some swelling is also common after treatment, which may be more obvious on day two. The area treated may be tender for 1-4 days. Makeup can be used to cover any redness, once the skin has healed; this redness will typically resolve within 2 months.
